What do I wear to class?

Recommended attire for pole:

  • sports bra
  • short shorts – the shorter the better
  • knee pads
  • any additional layers you would like to wear and remove as needed (i.e. leggings, tees, etc.)

Recommended attire for lyra & sling:

  • yoga pants – should fully cover your knees at minimum
  • fitted shirt with sleeves – long or short sleeves

Are heels required for class?

Heels are not required for any of our private lessons or classes. If you do not own a pair of heels and you would like to try them out during your lesson, we provide heels to rent for $6 in studio in sizes 6 – 11, subject to availability.

Can I record myself during class?

Students are permitted to record themselves at any point during their private or semi-private lessons. For small group classes video recording is typically reserved for the last 15 minutes of class.

Can I invite a friend to my private lesson?

Yes! You are permitted to add up to 3 additional guests to any of your private lessons. The price is $28 per person. You will provide the email addresses for the additional guests during booking and they will be individually invoiced for the lesson via email.

How do I sign up for class?

Select the link below to choose your appointment type and book your session. Once you have selected an appointment type (private lesson, class, photography, pole party, etc) you will be taken to the calendar where you will see the open availability each day of the week. You will select the day and time you would like to book your session from the list. You will be prompted to enter your payment info to book your session and then a confirmation email will be sent to you via the email address your provided during booking. If you do not receive a confirmation email and your card is not charged please contact Courtney @ 727-463-0586 because you appointment has not been booked.

Can I reschedule my session?

Yes! Currently you can reschedule your appointment up to 6 hours prior to the start of your session. The booking confirmation email you receive contains a link to reschedule. If you need help rescheduling your appointment you can text Courtney @ 727-463-0586.

Can I cancel my appointment and receive a full refund?

At this time we do not offer refunds for cancelled appointments. You can reschedule your appointment as needed with no penalty up to 6 hours prior to the start of your session. If you need to reschedule your appointment further out than the scheduling site will allow, you can text Courtney @ 727-463-0586.

Do I need to be in shape to try pole & aerial fitness?

Pole & aerial fitness is for everyBODY, regardless of your skill or fitness level. While many pole tricks can be physically challenging, there is a endless array of modifications and activities for every skill level in the pole & aerial space.

Pole dance lessons and choreography-based classes are especially beneficial for individuals who lack the physical strength to perform tricks, and learning how to move your body in an eye-pleasing, fluid way is challenging and rewarding in it’s own right.

If your primary goal is to master tricks, strengthening your body to perform these feats is something you will only gain with experience and time spent engaging in pole & aerial activities. If you are willing to put the work in and engage in pole & aerial training on a consistent basis you will be amazed at what your body can do. Let us help you become the best version of yourself!

I don’t feel comfortable showing my ‘sexy’ side. Is pole for me?

Pole fitness and dance are still considered taboo by many. It’s routes are grounded in overt sexuality but it is first and foremost a liberation from judgement, stemming from our desire as human beings to express every part of ourselves in any way we choose. If ‘sexy’ isn’t your vibe, that’s ok. If ‘sexy’ is your vibe, that’s ok too.

The bottom line is that you will not know what type of poler you will be until you take the leap and sign up for a lesson or class. Many people who start pole are adamant that they will only explore tricks and the ‘strength’ side of pole, only to find shortly into their pole journey that they are drawn to the dance side as well. There is something powerful and liberating about seeing yourself move in ways you never thought possible. You will figure out what brings you joy and we will encourage you to run with it, whether it be slinking around on the pole in 8″ heels or pole dancing barefoot and gracefully executing various trick combos. There is room in this space for anyone and everyone who has a passion for fitness through self-expression.
